Accounts, sign-in and roles
One login for every app, passwords, invitations, switching business, and what each role can do.
One account, every app
Your email and password work in Workshop, Cycles, Sheets, Service and Calendar. Each app keeps its own businesses and subscription; the login is shared.
Passwords
- Forgot it: on the sign-in page choose Forgot password. The emailed link works for an hour and resets only that account.
- Change it while signed in: Workshop: account menu → Password. Sheets: Profile → Change password. Cycles, Service and Calendar: Settings → Password. You'll need the current one.
- New passwords need at least 10 characters. Existing passwords keep working even if they're shorter.
Invitations
An owner invites you by email. The link signs you in and asks you to choose a password, then opens the business. If you already have an account, you're added the next time you sign in; no second email is sent.
If the link says the invitation is no longer valid, the owner cancelled it or it was already used. Ask them to invite you again.
More than one business
You can belong to several businesses in the same app, each with its own data, team and plan. In Workshop, switch between them from the account menu. Cycles and Sheets have no switcher: they open the business you joined first.
Roles
Workshop, Cycles and Sheets have four roles. Service has one person (the owner). Calendar is personal: only you see your calendar.

A manager reviews the people in the teams they lead, or everyone when the business has no teams. Nobody but the owner approves their own sheet. Managers never see pay.
Signing out
Account menu → Sign out. It signs you out of that app on that device.
