Lightspeed (Workshop)

Workshop and Cycles use the same notjust. app for Lightspeed Retail (X-Series). Each app connects to your store from its own Settings, and they share the store's access, so connecting or renewing in one never breaks the other. In Workshop it's on the Connected plan.

#What it does today

In Workshop, nothing yet: jobs on your Lightspeed till, charged there and marked paid in Workshop, are next. Until then Workshop jobs run on Shopify.

In Cycles, bookings go on your till as parked sales and show as paid when they're charged. See Cycles payments.

#Connect Lightspeed

Settings → Integrations → Lightspeed (owner).

1. Connect Lightspeed. Sign in to Lightspeed and allow the notjust. app.
2. Pick the Register sales go to, and who Sales made as (the Lightspeed user).
3. Save.

Disconnect unlinks Workshop only; Cycles stays connected if it's using the same store. The store's access is forgotten once neither app uses it.

#Good to know

• Lightspeed replaces the connection's access key regularly. Because the two apps share it, neither can be left holding an old one.
• Lightspeed is on the list of providers in Workshop's privacy policy.
