Podium

With Podium connected, a job's customer is texted from your Podium number, and their replies come back onto the job. Your Podium inbox still has every conversation. Connected plan.

#What you get

• Texts from the job: … → Messages on the board. See Message a customer from their job.
• Replies on the job: matched by phone number to the customer's open job (or their latest).
• Payment links: Podium's own, for the job's total or any amount.
• Review invites in one tap.
• Update texts when a job moves: your templates, with you asked first. See Messages when a job moves.

#Connect Podium

Settings → Integrations → Podium (owner).

1. Connect Podium. Sign in to Podium and allow access.
2. Back in Workshop, pick the Podium location texts go from, and Use this location.

That's it. Workshop also registers itself with Podium to hear replies and payments. If Podium doesn't accept that, the card says replies and payments won't show; pick the location again to retry.

Change location or Disconnect any time.

#Send a payment link

From a job's Messages, press Payment link. The amount starts at the job's total; change it if needed, and send.

• The customer pays on Podium's own payment page.
• The link and whether it's paid show under the conversation.
• When it's paid, Workshop marks the job's Shopify order paid. If the link was paid before the job was finished, the order is marked paid as soon as it's made.

A template can send a payment link too: Sends → Text and payment link, for the job's total. For example, with the job reaching Completed.

#Ask for a review

From Messages, Ask for a review sends Podium's review invite. Or have a template do it (Text and review invite), say, when a job is collected.

#Good to know

• The customer is found by the job's mobile number. Add one to the job if it has none.
• Every text shows who sent it. One that fails says not sent and why.
• Customer numbers are shared with Podium to text them. Podium is on the list of providers in Workshop's privacy policy.
