Signing and ID

#How renters sign

Every booking has its own link. The renter opens it and, for each rider:

1. Types their full name.
2. Uploads a photo of their ID or driver's licence: take a photo or choose a file (JPG, PNG, HEIC or PDF, up to 10 MB).
3. Reads the agreement and signs in the box.

No account needed.

#Getting them the link

• Automatically: the confirmation email has it, and the reminder the day before pickup sends it again if anyone still has to sign.
• After booking online: the confirmation page offers Upload ID and sign straight away.
• At the counter: on the booking's Agreement and ID, QR code for them to scan, Copy link, or Sign here to open it on the tablet.

#Seeing who's done it

The booking shows each rider as signed or Not signed, and whether ID was uploaded. The customer's page keeps their ID documents.

#Your agreement

Settings → Rental agreement. Saving makes a new version for new signings. What people already signed stays exactly as it was: the words they agreed to are kept with each signature.

#Privacy

ID photos are stored privately, for your business only, and are never on a public address. Each upload is checked to really be a photo or PDF, whatever the file says it is, and a booking link takes at most 20 uploads. The signature records the name, the time and the device's network address.
