Online booking

Your own booking page: customers pick a service and a free time and it lands on the calendar. Put it on your website, or share a link or QR code. Team and Connected plans.

Customers book themselves in, without an account, into times your staff are actually free. The booking goes straight onto the calendar. Team and Connected plans; owners set it up in Settings → Online booking.

How a customer books

  1. Service: they pick one of your bookable services (your job titles).
  2. Date and time: only days you're open and times someone who does that service is free. Times follow your booking interval.
  3. Details: name, phone and email, plus any questions you've added, and your terms if you have them.
  4. Confirmation: your message, and an email with an add-to-calendar file and a link to cancel.

The booking goes to the first free person, in your staff order, among the job title's staff group. Staff order is set in Settings → General → Staff order. Move it on the calendar like any other job.

Your team is emailed about every online booking and cancellation, at the address in the settings. When a customer replies to their booking email, the reply goes there too.

Services and categories

Settings → Online booking → Public booking page.

  • Service categories: group services ("Workshop", "Rental"). Each category gets its own link.
  • Bookable services: each has a length, which decides how long a slot is held, a category and a short description. These are your job titles, so the same list is used on the calendar and in drop-off.

Make it look like yours

Booking page branding: primary colour, heading colour, font, button text, corner rounding, headline, intro text, form instructions and the confirmation message. A preview shows the result as you go. Button text colour is picked for readability, and you can override it.

Booking steps & terms: the wording of each step, what's shown When no times are free, and Terms & conditions. With terms written, customers tick to agree before booking (you set the checkbox wording). Leave terms blank for no terms step.

Ask your own questions

Booking form fields: add a field (Text, Number or Dropdown) with its label, whether it's Required, and which services ask for it (tick none to ask on every service). Reorder with the arrows. Answers show on the booking.

Put it on your website

Embed & share:

  • Link address: the end of your link (/book/your-shop). Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Changing it breaks links you've already shared.
  • Direct booking link: for your socials, Google Business Profile and emails.
  • Embed code: paste it into your website (Framer, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress: any "embed" or "HTML" block). The booking page shows inside your site.

Cancellations

The confirmation and reminder emails have a link to manage the booking. Cancelling frees the slot and emails your team. Bookings can't be moved by the customer: they cancel and book again, or call you.

Protection from spam

A phone number can make 5 online bookings an hour, and a device 10. Bookings are checked against your hours, closed days and booking interval on the server, so a tampered page can't book outside them.
