Booking page
Customers book online from your own page or your website, pick sizes by height, add extras and pay by card, or pay at pickup.
Turn it on
Settings → Online booking (managers and owners):
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Take bookings online | Your page is live |
| Your booking address | The end of your link |
| Notice needed (hours) | How soon a booking can start |
| Bookable up to (days ahead) | How far ahead |
| Pay when booking | Customers pay at Shopify's checkout to confirm. Needs Shopify. Off: bookings are confirmed straight away and paid at pickup |
Then Open, or Link to copy it.
Put it on your website
Paste the code from Settings → Online booking where the booking page should appear, on any site (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, Framer, anything that takes HTML):
<script src="https://cycles.notjust.com.au/embed.js" data-business="your-address" async></script>
The booking page shows in place and grows to fit, so there's no scrollbar inside your page. Or just link to it from a Book now button.
What customers do
- Pick the dates and times: only what's free is offered, with your notice and how far ahead you allow.
- Who's riding: per rider, the model, their height and name. Their height picks the size from your models' rider heights; they can change it.
- Extras: your add-ons.
- Your details: name, email and phone. They see the Rental, Extras, Refundable deposit and Total.
- With Pay when booking, they go to Shopify's checkout; the booking is confirmed when Shopify says it's paid. Otherwise it's confirmed now.
- The confirmation offers Upload ID and sign straight away, and it's in their email. See Signing and ID.
A booking waiting for payment holds its assets for 45 minutes. After that an abandoned checkout doesn't block anyone.
What happens next
- Your team sees it under Bookings; with Lightspeed set to it, it goes on the till by itself. See Payments.
- The renter gets a confirmation, a reminder the day before pickup, one on the day it's due back, and one if it's overdue. See Settings.
Protection from spam
A customer (by email) can make 3 online bookings an hour, and a device 10, so a script can't book your fleet out or send your emails to strangers.
