#When an asset is due

Each model can have Service every: a number of rentals, days, or km, whichever comes first (Fleet → Models). Leave it empty for no reminders.

Counting starts from the asset's last service (or when it was added). Assets that are due show on the Fleet page under Service due, and in Reports, with why ("12 rentals (every 10)").

#Take it out of the pool

On the asset, Send to service. It can't be booked or handed over while it's In service. Damaged assets go to service by themselves at return.

#Log the work

On the asset's Service log:

• What was done ("new brake pads, chain lubed").
• The date, Parts $, Labour $, and the odometer.
• Ready to rent again: tick it to put the asset back in the pool as you log.

Parts and labour add up in the asset's service costs, and count against what it has earned in reports.

#After a return

Returned assets wait as Returned under Back in: check before the next rental on the booking. Press Ready to rent once each one is checked. Anything marked damaged is already In service.
