Using the calendar

#Views

Day, Week, Month, Year and List (the next 30 days). Today and the arrows move through them. Working hours are shaded, and the day and week open at the start of them.

The side panel has a small month, Up next today, Upcoming (the next 7 days), your tasks, and which calendars are shown.

#Make an event

• Drag across the grid in the day or week view: an event for that time.
• Click an empty slot: an event of your default length.
• New event (or C): the full editor, with title, starts, ends, all-day, category, location and notes.

Drag an event to move it; drag its edge to change its length.

#Quick add

Press N (or use the quick add bar) and type it the way you'd say it. More options… opens the full editor with it filled in.

It understands today, tomorrow, weekday names (fri on a Friday means next Friday), next fri, dates like 21 Sep or September 21st, times like 3pm, 15:00 or noon, and lengths like for 1h or for 90 min. at 3 with no am or pm is read as business hours. Anything it doesn't recognise stays in the title, so nothing is silently wrong. A few Lithuanian words work too (šiandien, rytoj, weekday names, užduotis).

#Search

/ or Search: find an event by its title, place or notes.

#Video calls

An event with a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link in its location or notes gets a Join button.

#Categories

Give events a category ("Admin", or #admin in quick add). Each category gets its own colour.

#Shifts from Sheets

Shifts planned in Sheets appear on your calendar. Change them in Sheets; the change shows here.
